Why it’s so Hard to Connect Non-Technical People with Developers

At Vol Court this year, we had a lot of non-technical people wanting to develop web-based or mobile applications, but they needed to connect with a developer to help the idea become a reality.  It’s a lot more difficult to make those connections than anyone expects.

One of our Memphis colleagues has written a great blog on why these connections are so hard to make.  Interestingly, he suggests that using the process we teach in Vol Court is a way to make those connections happen faster and with deeper commitment.  Check it out:  http://www.launchmemphis.com/2012/11/21/commonly-heard-i-need-a-developer-can-you-introduce-me/
